e.Beat project started when I realised that my mother, who is suffering from a high blood pressure, needs to track her daily reading into a tiny notebook. Every day. Two times.
So my husband, Android developer and I partnered up to design and develop e.Beat - a blood pressure diary helper - which become one of our favourite health tech projects.
To present why this issue is so common, let's say that Hypertension is a very common condition in which the prolonged high blood pressure against the artery walls can cause health problems.
One can have high blood pressure for a long time without any symptoms which makes it hard to diagnose and leads to an elevated risk of heart attack and stroke.
From design perspective, this project needed branding which included style guide, logo design, and overall app feeling. The UI part of design was made afterward.
